FAAN is dedicated to ending homelessness through the creation of Beloved Communities that are centered on cultures of belonging. We understand the longing for ‘home’ in a globalized modern context where many communities face threats of dislocation and instability. We leverage our nearly 30 year experience to address communities experiencing literal displacement and houselessness; while also working with communities where housing instability and cultural attacks threaten a sense of safety and belonging that puts the spirit into a state of shock and movement. Our services are designed to address the continuum of the meaning of homelessness by bringing people together for storytelling, relationship building and repair, and cultivation of shared visions that reflect the social spaces we want to experience to activate a feeling of home.
